Lee Jeans Giveaway!

I know, it's like giveaway central right now, isn't it? But hey, with the holidays fast approaching, it's fun to help get a few items off of your lists.

Today, I'm giving away TEN pairs of Lee jeans! As some of you know, jeans are my nemesis. I have a hard time finding jeans that fit well in the hips without having a waist twice as large as my waist. In the past, I've had good luck with the Lane Bryant Right Fit jeans, but if I continue on my goal of losing weight, I'll soon be too small for those. Tough dilemma, right?

Lee Jeans, however, sent me a pair of their jeans to try out, and I was surprised that I didn't have a waistband that was swimming around my midsection for once. I like dark jeans, and these look very good and wear even better after washing several times. I think these will be my new go-to jeans as I leave the plus-size jeans behind.

And now I have ten pairs of the Lee One True Fit Premium Bootcut jeans to give away. These jeans are a little lower on the waist (not low-waisted, though) designed to fit most body types and come in petite, average and plus sizes, with lengths of short, medium and long. There are three colors to choose from: Union Blue, Blackdigo, and Galaxy Blue.

How do I enter?
To enter, leave a comment below telling me your fit problems when trying to find good jeans (too long? too tight in the waist? etc.) by Wednesday, December 3 at 11:59pm EST, and make sure I have a way to contact you if your e-mail isn't in your Blogger profile.

Want a second entry?
Blog about this contest or link to this contest via Twitter and you'll have a second entry. (Please leave a separate comment with the link to your blog entry or specific tweet.)

Ten winners will be chosen after 12/3 by random drawing (Random.org). Winners will be able to pick the size, length and color of their jeans.

Good luck!

  3. Do you know how many women in the world are pear-shaped? Yet, my small waist and thicker legs and hips keep me from finding a decent fit in jeans! You think denim companies would desgin jeans to flatter specifc body types, and then label the blue jeans accordingly. These Lee Jeans look promosing. i'd love to give them a whirl!

  4. I recently discovered the magical powers of Lee jeans. I got a pair for my birthday, and they're perfect! Pants are always too long for me, and in order to fit my hips, they gap in the waist. Lee's no-gap waist is awesome!

  5. i'm short and i have no waist. i don't "indent" like most women, so it's hard to find jeans that sit right on my hips or hit at the right spot.

    sigh.

  6. I've never tried Lee jeans. I have the problem that if they fit my body, they gape around my waist.

Ok, where to begin? Most jeans are too tight in the waist if I get them over my hips, and since I have heavier thighs, it's a double minus. I'd love some new jeans.

The problem I have is I have wide hips and a big ass, but a relatively narrow waist. So if I get them big enough to fit the hips and ass, there's a huge gap at the waist. HATE that.

  11. I have a terrible time finding jeans! I am shorter (5'2") and according to manufacturers have a strangely shaped midsection since I always have a few inches of fabric bunching up in the back. It's as though the jeans are cone shaped! Adding a belt only makes this worse. I will gladly take any pair that doesn't need hemming and eliminates the "bunch" in the back. Great contest btw, saw this on Mom to the Screaming Masses's twitter. Happy Thanksgiving!

  13. Where do I start with problems? LOL

I have bigger thighs, so in order to get pants to fit my thighs, they're WAY too big in the waist.

They're always too long, but if I buy petites, they're like capris.

  17. Don't even get me started on the jeans issue... for me, I'm like the commenter above, I have short/skinny legs, but bigger waist and butt (thanks kids!). And jeans are always waaaaay too long! I always wonder who they are making them for! Haven't tried Lee jeans, but willing to try anything!

  18. I have a hard time finding jeans with a little stretch in the waistband area that also don't sag in the rear. I also have thicker calves so I have to make sure the pants aren't too close-fitting in that area (I hate it when I can't easily lift the pant leg to pull up my knee-socks.)

If I get the right size for my waist, the jeans are too big around my butt and too long! I hate buying jeans.

  22. I have an impossible time fitting my hips and my waist. The waist always gaps in the back. And at 5'4" Petite is too short and average is too long.

I am tweeting this contest too.

  23. I am short and wide, makes for a tough fit. Anything that fits in the hips is often too long.

I am thin but have wide hips so I can never find jeans both my hips and thighs. I have one pair of jeans that fits right, out of 8. Ugh!

Love Lee Jeans. I too have problems with the waist on jeans being too big. Also have problems with the length being too short after they are washed. As a result, I usually have to buy tall jeans.

  30. May Canadians enter?

I have a similar problem to yours in that jeans that fit my hips always seem to gap at the waist. I also sometimes have trouble with jeans being too tight in the knees (as in, I fit into them fine but would like them to be looser - maybe this is something I should just get used to).

  31. I am high waisted, with a small waist, junk in the trunk, hips and thighs. Gapping-waist is apparently hilarious to manufacturers of pants. I'm guessing these are all cross-dressing men who like the straight up and down cut of pants. Obviously no real woman can wear most jeans without woes.

Finding jeans that are long enough is the bane of my existence. I am tired of rocking jeans that are justbarely long enough, or going to the tailor to have hems let out. Yay for Lee jeans making jeans that are LONG!!

I need long jeans that are smaller in the waist and roomier in the hips and thighs. Here's hoping Lee can solve this problem. Thanks for the chance!

  35. I have a big butt, and for some reason, I've been seeing a lot of jeans with no booty-room. No, I don't think plumbers crack is hot on women. I'd love a pair of jeans that fit please!

  36. my problem with jeans is that they all seem to be low waisted and i can't keep them pulled up! So i can't find any that fit well! I would love to win these!
